Research area: High Energy Astrophysics, Transient Astronomy

We are studying bright transient objects in X-ray and gamma-ray using satellites and ground based telescopes.  Our main targets are gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), magnetars (highly magnetized neutron stars) and black holes.  We are developing new instruments for a future space mission, and also, operating small robotic telescopes.  We are also studying new X-ray and gamma-ray detectors aiming for using in space.  If you are interested, feel free to visit our lab!
